BoxLunch seeks a Store Manager to lead a mall store in Tempe, AZ. You will drive sales, recruit and develop a proactive team, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll ensure operational excellence, manage schedules and payroll, and build a positive, buzz-worthy store culture with strong community engagement. This role rewards leadership with growth and visible impact in pop-culture retail.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience; you’ve led teams to success and want to experience more of it.
• You’ll have to be at least 18 years of age to join the fandom force.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent. If you have a degree, even better.
• Roll with the punches! Retail is a fast-changing industry and you like catching curveballs.
• Open-minded and inquisitive regarding pop culture fandoms & trends.
• The usual retail stuff: able to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that your store achieves the sales plan and/or comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a super collaborative and passionate team to run your store alongside you.
• Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store web apps, and clienteling.
• Lead an operationally sound business with structure, delegation, autonomy, and customer-first selling practices.
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business.
• Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and customer feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit sales targets.
• Deliver the goods—merchandise the store using planograms and launch all promos on time.
• Mentor and recognize staff to build a bench of talent.
