Job summary

Famous Footwear in Camarillo, CA is seeking a full-time Store Manager who is passionate about serving the community by delivering the best shoe store experience for families. You lead a store team to meet Talent, Culture, and Operational responsibilities, modeling a customer-first mindset and daily execution.

You will inspire the customer connection, hire and develop talent, own operations from pricing to inventory, and drive sales growth through coaching, analysis, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years of retail store management experience, specialty retail preferred.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate with store associates.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the customer connection and develop internal talent through coaching moments.
• Lead talent discovery and succession planning for leadership roles.
• Own day-to-day store operations from pricing to inventory and shipments.
• Leverage insights from sales and operations to drive results and growth.
• Foster an inclusive culture and engage the team to maintain a positive work environment.
