Burlington Stores, Inc. in Maryland-Hagerstown is seeking a Store Manager to lead all facets of store operations, drive sales, and mentor a team of assistants, supervisors and associates. You will model our values and deliver a world-class shopping experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, inventory oversight, budget management, and building partnerships with district and regional teams to maximize performance. Flexibility and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of established policies and initiatives.
• Ensure Assistant Managers and store team members fulfill their responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing with Merchandising.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargebacks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and uphold Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget and related reporting.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Manage payroll budget and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication with store, district and regional teams.
