You will lead a team, manage shifts, review performance, and drive sales while maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment consistent with DG standards.

Qualifications

• Able to recruit, select and retain staff in alignment with laws and policies.
• Leading training, evaluating performance and counseling when needed.
• Advise on pay rate and opportunities for advancement.
• Communicate expectations for performance, safety and policy adherence.
• Open/close store shifts and ensure proper staffing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate store performance: sales, profitability, inventory turns, and shrink.
• Manage stock levels via ordering plans and cycle counts.
• Oversee merchandising, pricing and signage to maintain presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory, damages, markdowns, and controls.
• Ensure cash handling integrity and security procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service leadership and a safe environment.
• Keep store clean, organized, and properly equipped.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, paperwork and deadlines.
• Complete all required store documentation.
