Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per laws and policies; staff the store adequately.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Manage pay decisions, performance expectations, and store staffing levels.
• Communicate performance, safety and policy expectations regularly; lead meetings and events.
• Open and close the store reliably, ensuring operations meet standards.
• Monitor sales, profitability and inventory; review ordering and stock levels.
