Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is hiring in the Gainesville region for a store leadership role that includes an intensive manager-training course and ongoing staff development. The position emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a compliant, efficient store operation.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour plus commission, with a benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
