Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; 1 year of retail management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire, and train staff while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
• Familiarity with company policies, SOPs, and store safety procedures.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred at certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and implementation of store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising and staffing.
• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing and conduct evaluations.
• Provide training and performance feedback to employees; address gaps with coaching or termination as needed.
• Communicate performance expectations and ensure store opens/closes are performed daily.
• Ensure merchandise is presented properly, inventory is accurate, and cash controls are maintained.
