Job summary

At Home in Odessa, TX seeks a Store Manager to oversee all operational, financial and team functions in a large-format retail environment. This role drives business performance by building high-performing teams, executing operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional experience for Team Members and customers.

You will lead by example, foster teamwork, and continuously improve processes while managing daily store activity, scheduling and payroll to align with business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in big-box/high-volume retail.
• Experience leading 20+ Team Members and $5M+ annual revenue or budget.
• Customer-focused mindset with proven in-store service excellence.
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability and ethical practices.
• Proficient in MS Office and workforce scheduling tools.
• Strong communication across verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to inspire, delegate, and motivate high-performing teams.
• Proven data-driven decision making and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead all store operations to achieve sales, profit, and performance goals.
• Attract, hire, and develop talent; build bench strength and succession plans.
• Drive coaching and training to improve efficiency and internal growth.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented store environment.
• Ensure merchandising, freight flow, inventory, safety, and customer experience excellence.
• Staff appropriately for labor model, scheduling, and payroll needs.
• Address Team Member and customer concerns with urgency and integrity.
• Use store scorecard and metrics to inform strategy and drive results.
