Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver superb guest service. You will manage a retail team, schedule staff, and oversee training, rewards programs, and loss prevention.

You will ensure the store presents products clearly, maintains a clean shopping environment, and executes promotions while upholding company policies and standards. Experience in retail management and a passion for gaming are valued.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store in multiunit capacity where applicable.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service; greet guests promptly and assist with gaming needs.
• Promote promotions and loyalty programs; drive sales through product knowledge.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop store associates.
• Schedule staff to meet guest demand and ensure proper coverage and payroll efficiency.
• Manage inventory, POS transactions, bank deposits, and daily closeout procedures.
• Ensure store cleanliness, merchandising, safety, and adherence to company policies.
