Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager to oversee operations at our North Carolina locations. You will lead a retail team, drive sales, and deliver outstanding guest service while maintaining store standards and visual merchandising.

The role requires hands-on leadership, scheduling, payroll, onboarding, and adherence to company policies. You will work with district leadership to meet sales, profit, and shrink goals, while ensuring customer satisfaction and a safe, organized shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations across multiple units and drive sales.
• Provide best-in-class guest service and resolve guest questions quickly.
• Schedule staff, manage payroll, and ensure onboarding and training.
• Maintain visual standards and organize merchandise for easy shopping.
• Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily and process POS transactions accurately.
• Protect assets with inventory control and loss-prevention practices.
