Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Store Manager for a busy location in Kalamazoo, MI. You will lead from the front, drive store performance, supervise 8–15 employees across shifts, and own daily operations from cash handling to merchandising.

You will be responsible for recruitment, training, and cross-training, while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service. The role offers competitive pay and benefits with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Open availability to cover any shift as needed, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver''s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance (required for bank deposits).
• Retail or food management experience preferred.
• Willingness to lead by example in all aspects of store operations, including cleaning, upselling, and frontline service.
• Strong communication, integrity, and decisiveness.
• Minimum age 21+ years old.
• Certification: Food Safety certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of store operations, team, and performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts.
• Be the go-to person for coverage; available for any shift including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Run the register, stock, upsell, clean restrooms, maintain lot and fuel pumps.
• Coach team members to deliver excellent service and upsell promotions and key items.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members with focus on growth and teamwork.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
• Handle banking and cash deposits; must have a valid DL, reliable transportation and insurance.
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals.
• Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Be willing to cross-train and step in to manage deli or QSR operations when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
