The Michaels Companies is seeking a Store Manager in Spokane, WA. You will lead a team, drive sales and KPIs, and ensure a high level of customer service. You will oversee operations, shrink and safety programs, and cross-training across departments, including Custom Framing. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on brand promises.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring SOPs and Company programs; hold the team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Deliver sales plan/profit plan and KPI targets in line with annual objectives.
• Lead the execution of our customer brand promises.
• Implement shrink and safety programs to deliver goals.
• Use company tools to set, prioritize and communicate goals and provide management to team and customers.
• Staff the store with qualified team members: hire, train, observe and coach; manage performance and development.
• Interact with others respectfully; promote the organization’s vision and values; model positive behavior.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Maintain knowledge of all store departments and ensure cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production.
