Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Texas with strong leadership and communication skills to run all aspects of a multi‑million-dollar store operation. You will mentor and coach teams, deliver world-class customer service, and ensure daily merchandising and operations excellence across the store.

The role requires 5+ years of retail management, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to manage inventory, budgets, and staffing while upholding Burlington’s values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates.
• Ensure store policies and initiatives are implemented and followed.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing with Merchandising.
• Review inventory receipts, transfers, RTVs, and chargebacks for accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty and lead the store with strong leadership presence.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget; review reporting.
• Recruit, screen, and hire associates; onboard and train new team members.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development; handle personnel relations.
• Oversee payroll budgeting, workforce management, and scheduling.
• Foster communication between store team, district/regional management, and partners.
