Crosby’s Stores in Le Roy, IL is seeking a Team Leader to oversee daily store operations and lead a fast-paced team. This hands-on role focuses on people, performance, and profitability while maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

You will recruit, train, schedule, coach, and ensure high standards of service, safety, and store presentation, with a minimum 46 hours per week and flexibility for all shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of fast food/retail management experience.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Serve Safe certification, preferred.
• Must be able to work all shifts; minimum 46 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team: recruit, hire, train, and develop store associates and assistant team leadership; create schedules; coach and mentor; maintain a high-performing culture.
• Deliver outstanding customer experience: ensure fast, friendly, high-quality service; keep store clean, stocked, and aligned with brand standards; resolve customer concerns.
• Drive store performance: meet or exceed sales, profitability, and expense goals; manage inventory, food costs, and ordering; oversee cash handling and reporting.
• Manage daily operations: ensure policy compliance; maintain food safety; oversee merchandising, promotions, and in-store execution; keep store safe and well-maintained.

What You’ll Do:

Leading Your Team

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop store associates and assistant team leadership
• Create schedules and ensure proper staffing levels
• Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable

Delivering Outstanding Customer Experience

• Ensure every customer receives fast, friendly, and high-quality service
• Maintain store cleanliness, product availability, and brand standards

Driving Store Performance

• Meet or exceed sales, profitability, and expense goals
• Manage inventory, food costs, and ordering
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and financial reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and grow sales

Managing Daily Operations

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of fast food/retail management experience
• Valid Driver’s license
• Reliable transportation for position requirements (e.g., meetings, banking)
• Serve Safe certification, preferred
• Ability to utilize basic business math and accounting skills, computer skills and strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Possess strong supervisory and organizational skills
• Must be able to work all shifts - weekends and holidays based on business needs; this position requires a minimum of 46 hours per week
