Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development track designed to prepare you for store leadership. You will learn operations for both the front-end and pharmacy, under the Store Manager's guidance, and rotate across stores in the area.

You will engage customers, coach staff, and participate in planning to improve store performance, while gaining exposure to inventory, pricing, and merchandising decisions relevant to daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with 3/5 years retail management experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens' operations to lead one-box full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Under Store Manager, oversee the operation of the store (front-end and pharmacy).
• Shadow or assist Store Manager in leading store throughout the learning journey.
• Engage customers and patients, resolve complaints, and model service best practices.
• Coach team members on customer service and sales performance.
• Shadow Store Manager in opening/closing shifts and delegating tasks.
• Learn to analyze inventory, pricing, and merchandising to support store performance.
