Job summary

Walgreens seeks a candidate for an accelerated Store Manager development track in United States. The role involves learning operations across front-end and pharmacy, shadowing the Store Manager, and completing required certifications within the program timeframe.

You will engage with customers, participate in rotations across stores, and follow development plans set by District and Store Managers to prepare for permanent leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations across front-end and pharmacy under Store Manager guidance.
• Oversee operation of Walgreens store front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow Store Manager to gain supervision experience and develop leadership skills.
• Engage customers and patients to provide assistance and resolve issues.
