Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with recruiting, merchandising, inventory management, cash handling, and opening/closing store duties. Travel to other stores may be required so flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment is preferred for external candidates.
• All locations may prefer bilingual Spanish speakers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and staging of merchandise according to practices and direction.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and prepare inventories.
• Follow prescribed ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Act as a role model by following company procedures and policies.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds and cash control.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and a safe environment.
• Operate store in store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
