Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a manager-in-training to lead a store team with a focus on sales, service, and operations. The program includes a 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics and development opportunities.

You will recruit and coach staff, foster a positive culture, and drive daily sales and customer satisfaction. The role requires adaptability, the ability to manage banking, safety, and compliance, and a commitment to meeting performance targets.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help employees meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked, and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
