Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead a team and deliver outstanding customer service while learning to manage merchandising, staff, and store operations with a profitability mindset.

You will develop associates, oversee daily store activities, ensure compliance, and implement directives from corporate. A high-energy, team environment awaits with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training and coaching.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
