Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Training to learn how to run a profitable store with strong merchandising, display, and customer service standards.

You will participate in on-the-job training to master opening/closing, storefront presentation, and daily operations while maintaining an inviting atmosphere for customers and associates. You will develop leadership skills, drive store performance, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet moving demands.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development through training on operations and merchandising; coach when needed.
• Oversee and delegate store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement directives from corporate headquarters on operations and merchandising.
• Help store reach maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
