Job summary

SNIPES USA in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an entry-level Manager in Training to fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. This role provides hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail environment and a clear path to advancement within the SNIPES leadership track.

You will drive sales and profitability through high levels of customer service, effective team management, and attention to Visual Merchandising standards while gaining experience across store

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results.
• Takes initiative and has problem solving skills.
• Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
• Lifting between 15-30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager/Assistant Manager with communicating goals to the team.
• Assist in monitoring performance: sales volume, hourly production, UPTs, charge accounts, loss prevention.
• Demonstrate leadership to help manage staff.
• Execute floor set guides and promotions on time.
• Direct and maintain merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
• Identify customer merchandise needs and whether assortment meets them.
• Work with Store Manager to ensure markdowns and transfers are timely.
• Ensure store meets cleanliness standards on sales floor and in stockroom.
