Job summary

SNIPES, a leading sneaker and streetwear retailer, seeks a Manager in Training to fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. This is an entry level management role within the store level.

You will drive sales and profitability, support goals, supervise performance, and maintain visual merchandising standards while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 15–30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability while delivering high customer service.
• Assist Store Manager in communicating goals to maximize team contributions toward sales plans.
• Monitor performance in sales, hourly production, UPTs, charge accounts and loss prevention.
• Support management in directing and maintaining merchandising presentation per standards.
• Ensure markdowns and transfers are completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain store cleanliness on sales floor and stockroom.
• Recognize customer needs and ensure assortment meets them.
• Collaborate on floor set execution and promotions.
• Lead and develop staff in the Store Manager’s absence.
