Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a high-potential candidate to participate in an accelerated Store Manager development program. The role focuses on learning store operations across front-end and pharmacy, under Store Manager supervision, with rotations through multiple stores to gain hands-on experience.

You will complete required certifications and participate in ongoing development discussions to ensure readiness for permanent assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and relevant retail management experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the store's front-end and pharmacy under the Store Manager.
• Shadow and assist the Store Manager in leading store operations and development.
• Lead customer experience by coaching staff and resolving issues to ensure positive outcomes.
• Analyze store performance data and develop actions to improve sales and efficiency.
• Support in opening/closing shifts and merchandising tasks across departments.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, and applicable laws.
