Job summary

GNC is seeking a Store Manager in Training (SMIT) to develop into a store leader. You will be part of a fast-track program under a Store Manager or District Manager, learning to lead, coach, and drive results while delivering exceptional customer service.

As an SMIT, you will handle daily operations, product management, and customer engagement, with responsibilities that include sales goals, team development, opening/closing duties, and adherence to GNC policies and values.

Qualifications

• Sales-oriented role requiring ability to meet or exceed personal sales and productivity goals.
• Leadership and coaching skills to develop a high-performing team.
• Strong customer service mindset with ability to engage customers and promote products.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in training initiatives, projects, and goals to support progression.
• Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and MYGNC Rewards.
• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals while helping sales associates realize their potential.
• Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and manage performance including recruiting and coaching.
• Open, close and operate the retail facility, including cash handling and deposits.
• Attend community events to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives.
