Job summary

GNC is offering a Store Manager in Training (SMIT) program designed to develop individuals to manage their own store. Under supervision, you will learn to operate the store, drive results, and lead a team with emphasis on customer service and health and wellness expertise.

The role is a full-time hourly supervisory position with opportunities to promote to Store Manager based on performance, availability, and company needs.

Responsibilities

• This is a Full-Time Hourly Supervisory Position.
• Lead, coach, and support your team to provide exceptional service and guidance to customers.
• Oversee daily store operations including business performance and product management, ensuring the team has the necessary tools to succeed.
• Represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting the "Live Well" message to customers.
• Actively engage with your leader in training initiatives, projects, and goals to support your path to promotion.
• Support the total shopping experience, including visual/operational elements, current sales initiatives, and customer relationships (MYGNC Rewards).
• Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.
• Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and manage performance, recruiting, hiring, and development.
• Open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling and inventory management.
• Attend community events to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.
