ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to lead store operations and develop teams in a fast-paced retail environment. You will manage daily duties such as stocking, merchandising, customer service, and maintaining store standards while learning to run a store end-to-end.

The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and hands-on participation in all aspects of the store, with comprehensive training and growth opportunities across locations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail environment and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct reports: communicate responsibilities and performance expectations to ensure results; lead and develop store personnel.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results using company resources.
• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns in coordination with the district manager.
• Interview candidates for store positions and make recommendations to the district manager.
• Manage personnel, including recommendations for advancement and termination.
• Interact with ALDI personnel, customers, third-party vendors, and business partners to maintain smooth operations.
• Lead and supervise the team to drive sales, engage teams, satisfy customers, and achieve KPI targets.
• Ensure safety, compliance with policies, and adherence to federal/state/local regulations.
