The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position through a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training experience. This program includes virtual and hands-on learning, supported by your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Note: Selection as an SMIT does not guarantee promotion to Store Manager. Promotion depends on performance and available openings. Candidates must be willing to accept a Store Manager role at any location within the market and able to transfer as needed. Flexibility in work schedule is required.
