General Position Summary
  • Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
  • Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.
  • Provide consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities.
  • Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines, signage, and store cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in line with the company dress code.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Generate Sales
  • Produce sales gains through customer service.
  • Achieve or surpass company sales targets.
  • Assess and provide feedback on sales performance.
  • Follow visual guidelines for merchandising and store presentation.
  • Dress professionally according to policy.
Control Expenses
  • Protect company assets following retail policies.
  • Assist in preparing store schedules within wage control guidelines.
  • Manage inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, and pricing.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records as per policies and laws.
  • Open and close the store following procedures.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise Associates
  • Participate in training programs and meet sales and task goals.
  • Assist in recruiting and training staff.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, safeguarding inventory and funds.
  • Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to generate sales and minimize loss.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and software skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work overhead.
  • Stand for up to 100% of the work time.
  • Ability to work independently.
Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Compensation varies by skills, experience, and location. PT Assistant Store Managers are also eligible for monthly sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
