Join to apply for the Store Manager in Training role at CVS Health.

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is designed to prepare you for a future Store Manager position through a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training experience. It includes virtual and hands-on learning, supported by your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Key skills for this role include:

  1. Verbal and written communication skills to support and lead your team.
  2. Customer care duties to ensure high service levels.
  3. Executing merchandising strategies to support sales growth.
  4. Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Our expectations for SMITs are:

  1. Engaging actively with leadership during the program.
  2. Supporting the store as a management team member in line with CVS values and policies.
  3. Engaging colleagues to support the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
  4. Willingness to accept promotion roles within the market or transfer to other CVS stores.

Qualifications include:

  • High School diploma or GED (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Retail management experience or CVS supervisory experience.

Note: Promotion to a Store Manager depends on performance and openings; acceptance of a promotion to any location within the market is expected.
