Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager trainee in New Jersey to join an accelerated development program designed to prepare you for a permanent Store Manager role.

Under the Store Manager's direction, you will learn full store operations across front-end and pharmacy, participate in rotations and training, and develop leadership skills relevant to store leadership, while pursuing required certifications and onboarding with the District and Director teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer to Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation (front-end and pharmacy) of a Walgreens store under Store Manager guidance.
• Shadows Store Manager and leads store during the learning journey, including opening/closing shifts and task delegation.
• Learns and applies SOPs across front-end and pharmacy and gains knowledge of computer systems.
