Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting diagrams, safety rules, and manuals.
• Perform basic math calculations and percentages.
• Cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Learn and perform IBM cash register functions and reporting.
• Inventory management and merchandising knowledge.
• Cash, facility and safety control policies (deposits, keys, SAFE/STARS).
• Certain locations may prefer bilingual Spanish speakers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking per established standards.
• Assist in inventory management and prepare inventories.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Operate the store in the store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on deadlines.
