The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a development-focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. This 16-week, self-paced, and collaborative training program includes virtual and hands-on learning experiences, supported by a team of leaders including your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Key Skills Needed:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills to support and lead your team.
• Customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Executing merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Promotion to Store Manager is not guaranteed and depends on performance and vacancy availability. Requirements include:

• Willingness to accept a promotion anywhere within the designated market.
• Ability to transfer to other CVS stores within the market.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules based on business needs.
• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or relevant work experience in retail management or as a CVS Supervisor.

Additional Details:

• Anticipated Weekly Hours: 45
• Time Type: Full-time
• Pay Range: $18.50 - $28.67 per hour, depending on experience and location.
