Job summary

Walgreens in Missouri offers an accelerated Store Manager Training Program designed to develop leaders for both front-end and pharmacy operations. Trainees will learn by shadowing the Store Manager, completing classroom and on-the-job training, and rotating through multiple Walgreens locations to meet learning objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-end and pharmacy operations under Store Manager guidance.
• Shadow Store Manager to learn opening/closing shifts and task delegation.
• Lead learning rotations across stores to complete accelerated development plan.
• Protect store assets and ensure price accuracy through SOPs and audits.
• Analyze performance data to identify opportunities and support improvement plans.
