Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in supervising staff, stocking, inventory, and store operations, with the goal of developing an external candidate for the Store Manager role.

This temporary position involves merchandising, cash handling, opening/closing duties, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked store while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking per standards.
• Assist in inventory management and prepare inventories.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Operate store in store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete all paperwork per guidelines and deadlines.
