The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) role is designed to develop you into a CVS Store Manager. This 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training includes virtual and hands-on learning experiences. Supportive team members include your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor is also beneficial.
Note: Selection for the SMIT position does not guarantee promotion to Store Manager. Promotion depends on performance and available openings. Willingness to accept a promotion to any location within the market and to transfer as needed is required.
