Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions to generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stock presentation according to manager direction.
• Assist in inventory management including damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Open/close store and secure deposits.
• Ensure financial integrity through cash controls and key security procedures.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Review operating statements for trends, labor, profitability, and inventory turns.
• Complete paperwork according to guidelines and deadlines.
