Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cash handling and POS operations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to analyze sales trends and inventory levels.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred depending on store location.

Aufgaben

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure staffing.
• Provide training and conduct performance evaluations.
• Manage employee pay rate and advancement recommendations.
• Communicate expectations and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Open and close store on schedule; personally open/close several times weekly.
• Evaluate operating statements for trends and profitability.
• Manage ordering and inventory counts to meet in-stock targets.
• Staging, stocking and storage of merchandise per processes.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and security procedures.
• Provide customer service leadership and maintain clean, safe store.
• Ensure store has tools and equipment; follow SOPs; complete paperwork.
