Dollar General Corporation is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily store operations, recruit and train staff, manage inventory and ordering, and uphold cash controls. You will drive sales, ensure compliance with policies, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with focus on staffing, performance management, and safety.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire, counsel and terminate following policy.

Mansioni

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps for solutions or counseling, up to termination.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Maintains safety, security, and policies; communicates expectations and conducts regular meetings.
• Ensures store is opened and closed properly; maintains staffing levels.
• Evaluates operating statements for trends, expenses, and shrink; acts on insights.
• Manages inventory, ordering, and replenishment to meet in-stock targets.
• Stock merchandise with proper presentation, pricing, and signage.
• Maintains accurate inventory; controls damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Upholds cash accountability and store security procedures; ensures fiscal integrity.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership and maintains a safe store environment.
