Catalyst Brands is seeking a Store Manager (Specialty) to lead a high-performing team and deliver outstanding customer experiences at a busy JCPenney store.You will hire and train associates, coach performance, and manage all store operations to meet sales goals.

The role reports to the District Manager and offers bonus opportunities along with a competitive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, paid vacation and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Store Manager in apparel or similar high-volume stores.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and metrics.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to travel to other store locations for district meetings.

Responsibilities

• Use statistical information and market knowledge to create action plans and achieve financial, customer-service and operational goals.
• Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent individuals.
• Motivate and engage your teams by identifying their strengths.
• Provide and receive feedback to improve performance and develop team members.
• Communicate clear expectations and hold the store team and yourself accountable to achieving results.
• Ensure store standards for merchandising and operations are met consistently.
• Oversee controllable expenses such as payroll and training to increase profitability.
