Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Retail environment experience, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• Experience in managing and cultivating a sales team.
• 3-5 years of customer service experience. 3+ years of management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical thinker with demonstrated business acumen.
• Ability to problem solve and juggle multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and sales goals, focusing on company growth.
• Manage and control assets of the company for the designated store.
• Direct and oversee all sales efforts in the store; train and mentor associates.
• Monitor store operations including sales statistics, inventory, and expenses to drive profit.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on policies, goals, and procedures.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Mentor a team of Sales Associates, Assistant Managers, and Managers in Training.
• Lead recruitment, training, discipline, and payroll scheduling to meet labor goals.
• Maintain store security and partner with Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
• Communicate inventory movement and drive inventory goals and strategies.
• Implement marketing and advertising plans and monitor customer trends.
• Stay informed on competition and community events to seize opportunities.
