Job summary

Work World is hiring a Store Manager at our San Jose, CA location. You will lead a store team, foster a consumer-centric mindset, train staff, and manage daily operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and shipments.

The role requires 2+ years of retail management, a High School Diploma, and strong communication. Nights, weekends, and holidays are included in the schedule; bi-lingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-years of prior retail management experience as a Store Manager.
• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspire, motivate, lead, and develop a store team.
• Model a consumer-centric mindset in the store.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and supervision of staff.
• Open and close the store; prepare opening/closing paperwork.
• Greet customers and assist with finding items; answer phones.
• Keep store clean and organized; ring sales at the register.
• Process merchandise shipments and bank deposits.
• Supervise training of personnel and support the Area Manager.
