Job summary

You will manage supplier relationships, oversee safety practices, and drive store performance through staff development and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1–2 years retail work experience or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions.
• Ability to use computer, or acquire those skills necessary to use a computer at the store, including completion and analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, employment forms, etc.
• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to have open availability.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises the activities of 2+ full-time employees including Assistant Managers and Customer Service Representatives.
• Recruits, hires and trains staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Schedules employees to maximize service and maintain store image.
• Develops positive relationships with suppliers and resolves customer complaints promptly.
• Trains employees on safety procedures and promotes safety awareness.
• Maintains store files, organizes inventory and ensures reports are completed accurately.
