Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations and profitability for one or more retail locations (Check ’N Go, Allied Cash, or Cash Store).

You will oversee site operations, sales, customer service, and store leadership, with responsibilities including cash handling, compliance, and staff supervision. The role involves coordinating with the District Director of Operations, traveling within the district, and recruiting for Assistant Store Managers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with sales, customer service, and cash handling.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on product options to meet needs.
• Interact with customers using active listening to clarify information and diffuse complaints.
• Escalate issues to District Director of Operations when unresolved.
• Respond professionally to general questions, applications, requests, and calls per procedures.
• Handle and count currency; manage cash drawer and deposits; assist with bank pickups.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete training.
• Coordinate operations and training to achieve metric targets.
• Maintain staff schedules and cover other stores within the district.
• Support staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales culture.
• Assist in recruiting, selection, and onboarding of Assistant Store Managers.
