Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations and drive profitability across one or more of our retail locations in the CNG family. The role covers store operations, sales, customer service, and leadership at the site level.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in sales and cash handling, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, plus strong communication and MS Office skills. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in sales, customer service, and cash handling.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in an autonomous environment, and provide store level leadership.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and services to meet their needs.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm or clarify information and diffuse complaints.
• Escalate issues to the District Director of Operations (DDO) and Corporate Office if unresolved.
• Respond professionally to general questions, customer applications, requests, and collection calls in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Handle and count currency and cash, manage cash drawer, deposits, and safe movements.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information presented.
• Process transactions (loans, check cashing, Net Spend) per policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate operations and training to achieve metric targets.
• Maintain staff schedule and cover other stores in the district.
• Support staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales culture.
• Assist District Director with recruiting, selection, onboarding of Assistant Store Managers.
