Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking a Store Manager in Sacramento, CA. You will lead a large team, oversee all store operations, drive sales, and uphold our inclusive, customer‑focused culture.

This bonus eligible role requires 3–5 years of retail leadership in high‑volume environments, strong coaching and communication skills, and a proven ability to develop associates, with emphasis on service, merchandising, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience as a Store or District Manager in dynamic, high-volume environments.
• Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a large team.
• Strong leadership skills focused on collaboration, problem-solving, and empowering diverse teams to make effective decisions.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills, adept at mentoring and providing feedback.
• Comprehensive knowledge of store operations, including customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations to boost sales, control expenses, and minimize shrink and damages.
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage a large team of Associates and Assistant Managers.
• Develop and implement creative plans to increase store sales and provide insights on merchandising and customer demographics.
• Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and ensure compliance with company programs, procedures, and policies.
• Ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience by maintaining high standards in customer service and merchandise presentation.
