Job summary

Russell Stover Chocolates is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager in Surprise, AZ to lead, train, and motivate a team while achieving sales and profit goals. You will oversee merchandising, stock, and customer service with a hands-on approach in a fast-paced candy retail environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in retail management, strong leadership, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Evening and weekend availability, plus the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of prior retail management experience.
• Customer service and selling experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using an email service.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 5 lbs. with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to constantly stand, bend, reach and work with your hands.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, leading, and motivating employees.
• Recruit and hire quality associates.
• Provide first rate coaching and training.
• Meeting sales and profit goals.
• Controlling expenses and inventory.
• Displaying strong merchandising techniques.
• Unloading, receive, and stock merchandise.
• Preparing and supervising the regular in-house production of a variety of confection items made locally in our candy kitchen.
• Displaying an excellent customer service driven attitude.
• Performing back office duties using a PC.
