Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. seeks an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations and profitability of multiple retail locations within the district. You will manage cash handling, customer service, staff supervision, and drive sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with the District Director of Operations. Travel within the district and some overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience with sales, customer service, and cash handling
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in an autonomous environment, and provide store level leadership
• Must have own personal reliable transportation and valid driver's license and insurance

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and/or services to meet their needs
• Interact with customers with active listening to confirm or clarify information and diffuse complaints
• Escalate issues to the District Director of Operations and Corporate Office if unable to resolve
• Respond professionally to general questions, customer applications, requests, sales, and calls
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies
• Perform customer verifications to validate information
• Process all transactions accurately per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend)
• Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies
• Complete compliance trainings and quarterly I Agree timely
• Coordinate operations, development, and training to achieve targets
• Maintain store staff schedule and assist covering other stores within district
• Support staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales culture
• Assist District Director of Operations with recruiting, selection, onboarding of Assistant Store Managers
• Other duties as assigned
