Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents, diagrams, and procedures.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations including percentages.
• Handle cash with accuracy and deposit controls.
• Learn IBM cash register functions to generate reports.
• Understand inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Follow cash, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and counsel employees in compliance.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Work well with others, showing strong interpersonal skills.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Spanish may be preferred at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and staging of merchandise.
• Help manage inventory, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Model company policies and procedures.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds.
• Assist with cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and safe environment.
• Operate store in the manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation.
