Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, diagrams and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with merchandizing by staging, stocking and pricing merchandise according to store manager direction.
• Assist in inventory management, damages, markdowns, scans, and paperwork.
• Follow prescribed ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and act as a role model of company procedures.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities and bank deposits.
• Review operating statements to identify business trends and opportunities for cost control.
