Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in Danbury, CT is seeking a Store Manager. This role starts with a 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics and leads a team to deliver excellent tanning and wellness service.

You will interview, hire, and develop staff; mentor a positive environment; analyze daily sales to maximize revenue; manage labor, inventory, and maintenance while ensuring banking, safety and legal compliance; provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others to achieve targets.
• Must be able to stand, bend and walk for long periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
